A Paced Road Rides

This group is Bend road rides that tend to be more experienced riders, and the group dynamics can falls into a natural mix of fast but steady collaborative pace line riding and harder competitive riding.  There isn't a predetermined pace on these rides, that will be determined by who shows up and the group dynamic out on the road, but generally speaking these rides tend to be on the faster side of the spectrum.  The group is anywhere from 10-60+ riders depending on the week and ride, and all rides are self organized with no single group leader.  These are not organized races and are on open roads, so please do not ride in a way that endangers yourself or the group.  Also, since these are just a grassroots friends riding together thing, you assume all responsibility for yourself by showing up to any of the rides.

Commons Ride

C+ ride mainly tackling road and gravel. Not a no-drop ride but also regroups at key junctions to keep things together.

Tuesday Night Rubber Mallet

Come join us for a fun and spirited group ride. We emphasize safety, good on-road cycling manners, and riding cooperatively. We will have 2-3 regroupings, but this is NOT a "no drop" ride. Average speed is 19-20mph. If you feel the need to go harder, I suggest you join in with the Tuesday Night Hammerfest.  **The Rubber Mallet is not an organized or sponsored ride. This is a group of friends getting together for a ride, and not an official event. By showing up and participating, you take full responsibility for yourself and your actions and fully accept the risks of riding in a group and on open roads. I am not an official leader, and the ride is in no way affiliated with Webcyclery.**
